What is included in the yatra package?

  • A: Our yatra packages typically include accommodation, meals, transportation during the yatra, expert guidance, and access to spiritual activities and sightseeing as outlined in the itinerary. Specific inclusions may vary depending on the yatra.

Are there any prerequisites for joining a yatra?

  • A: While most of our yatras are open to individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels, some may have specific requirements or recommendations. We recommend checking the yatra details for any prerequisites or contacting us for clarification.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If done a Yatri,

    • Cancellation Deadline: Yatris may cancel their YATRA reservation if they are unable to proceed with the selected yatra. Please inform us at least 72 hours prior to the yatra commencement.
    • Acceptable Reasons for Cancellation: Yatris’ personal judgment governs cancellation decisions. We appreciate being informed if any issues from our end contributed to the cancellation.
  • Refund Eligibility:
      • Cancellation within the time limit: 100% refund
      • Cancellation within 48 hours or less: 90% refund
  • Cancellation Process:
      • Notify Yatramay via call, WhatsApp, email, or office visit.
      • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method received.
  • Yatramay Cancellation:
      • If Yatramay cancels a yatra due to operational issues, a full refund is provided.
      • In unforeseen circumstances like government-ordered restrictions or natural calamities, a deduction of 10-15% may apply.
  • Administrative Fees:
      • Administrative fees are deducted if the cancellation notice is not provided within the stipulated 72-hour timeframe.
  • Refund Processing Time:
      • Refunds are typically processed within 5 working days, depending on the payment method.
  • Uniform Policy:
      • The refund policy remains consistent across all yatra packages and destinations.
  • Communication for Cancellations:
    • Yatris may communicate their cancellation preference via their preferred method of communication.

If Yatramay cancels or reschedules

  • Yatramay’s Commitment to Safety:
      • Yatramay prioritizes the safety and well-being of yatris throughout the yatra journey.
      • In the event of natural calamities such as landslides, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions, yatris will be promptly informed, and options for refund or rescheduling will be provided.
  • Government Mandates and Border Closures:
      • If government-issued mandates like border closures or orange alerts affect yatra operations, yatris will receive the same level of communication and support, with options for refunds or rescheduling.
  • Response to Lockdowns:
      • In the unfortunate event of a government-imposed lockdown, yatramay will assist yatris in canceling yatra reservations, with refunds processed accordingly (deductions may apply).
  • Alternative Arrangements:
      • Yatramay aims to provide alternative arrangements or compensation in case of yatra cancellations beyond its control. However, deductions may apply based on collateral loss.
  • Communication Protocol:
      • Yatramay communicates sudden cancellations promptly and provides detailed information on refunds or rescheduling options to yatris.
  • Contingency Planning and Safety Measures:
      • Yatramay has a comprehensive contingency plan in place, prioritizing yatris’ safety. With onboard medical assistance and a robust network of local contacts and authorities, yatris are ensured a safe return.
  • Documentation Requirements:
      • Yatris may need to provide their booking receipt and PAN card copy (if applicable) for processing refunds or rescheduling.
  • Terms and Conditions:
      • Specific terms and conditions regarding cancellation policies due to natural disasters or government advisories will be outlined in the yatra agreement, with deductions expected in certain circumstances.
  • Rescheduling Process:
    • Yatris will have the option to reschedule their yatra dates, with details provided for upcoming yatras. Yatris can choose dates according to their convenience.
